As we move into year two of the pandemic, the annual meeting of the Friends of Takoma Park Maryland Library will take place virtually. A zoom link will be emailed to members to participate in the meeting remotely. Five seats for two-year terms are up for election in 2021, including those of two incumbents who are running for re-election. Applications for the board may be submitted to the nominating committee. Send a one-paragraph bio, your email and a cell phone number to debjnelson@gmail.com. The election will be held at the annual meeting, 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, and nominations also will be taken from the floor at that time.
The board meets at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings currently are taking place on Zoom.
