On Saturday, April 29, the Takoma Park Library will be hosting Día de los niños / Día de los libros, the American Library Association’s annual celebration of children, families, and reading. Please note that the event will take place at the Library’s temporary location, 7505 New Hampshire Ave. between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
At this event, you and your family can enjoy free performances, with stories and music by Munit & Z Lovebugs and by Amor y Luz (Kutasha Silva & Amy Vitro). There also be information about the Library’s community partners, including the Takoma Park Recreation Department, Carpe Diem Arts, the Friends of the Library, TELAS Colectivo Teatral, and more.
