The Fall 2019 Friends of the Takoma Park Maryland Library newsletter has been printed out and is on its way to members. In this issue, you can find articles on:

  • The library’s 84th birthday party, held in July;
  • The planned library renovation;
  • The “Talk of Takoma” interview on WOWD radio in June of students and parents who participated in the Friends’ book club for Piney Branch English as a Second Language students;
  • Friends book clubs;
  • Upcoming children’s book author appearances and other programming for children this fall.
