The Friends of the Takoma Park Maryland Library (FTPML) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that supports our local library. Your donations to the Friends of the Library help support library programs that are in addition to those funded through the city budget — programs such as Spanish Circle Time, chess instruction for kids, and yoga story time. Funds provided by FTPML allow library staff to experiment with programs dreamed up in between city budget cycles.

In addition to the library programs we support, the Friends host two book groups and a monthly Fixit Clinic, sponsor a number of Little Free Libraries, and maintain poetry posters that have been put up around the city.

You can support the friends by making a donation.
